The Barbault Basket
A potentially comforting promise for better things to come.

Everyone is talking about the current Barbault Basket, named after the late French astrologer André Barbault. This planetary configuration involves Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries, Uranus in Gemini and Jupiter in Leo, all forming supportive trines and sextiles in the form of a basket at 4°.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if during this time of planetary alignment, we saw reflected in our world this promise of a collective understanding of our universal connection, the need for personal autonomy and community support for the betterment of all?
And while we look at the chaos and cruelty, the suffering and disregard for basic human rights, the tragic state of our world and the earth, I have to believe and hope that this week many of us are feeling hints and nudges from our hearts, seeds of inspiration and dreams that will begin to sprout over time. Imagine a world where these seeds create gardens, creating more seeds and more gardens based on love and kindness. While we may not be seeing the promise that the planets seem to imply, maybe we simply need to listen and open our hearts just a bit more. Just enough to start sewing some seeds.
